Oh! I forgot to tell you... my kitty Cookie has passed on. He was very old and sick and breathing heavily. Though I rushed him to the vet he had other plans; as soon as they got him to the back room he had left us in the usual manner. Still not dead, although not all reports are in.
Oh this medical crap makes me want to buy a shotgun. I liked the sound of that sentence except how I don't think anyone should have guns, anymore, that's it everyone, give 'em back. Okay so I'm not dead, but whilst I was somewhat weakened by this long-term pneumonia, another pneumonia wandering by said, "Hey! A somewhat weakened person!" and attacked me. (I am actually excited about this, since peanut butter and bananas are both 'sometimes' foods on the kidmey diet.)

Medical Update.
So... fought the pneumonia with a half crap-ton of Prednisone; when it got better, we started ramping the Prednisone down, at which point the pneumonia came back. Then more Prednisone, and now I'm feeling better (except for all the evil evil Prednisone side-effects), so tomorrow when I go to the doctorb* he'll do a chest X-ray and, I suspect, ( Read more... ) -
