Okay so I'm not dead, but whilst I was somewhat weakened by this long-term pneumonia, another pneumonia wandering by said, "Hey! A somewhat weakened person!" and attacked me. So a week in the hospital later, I'm out and feeling very very weak and occasionally coughing up large globs of horrible stuff

I am very glad that the pneumonia did not kill you to death. Globs of horrible stuff is bad enough. Keep taking it easy. Get to know the internet again, just a little at a time. It will let you know when it's ready for the next step in the relationship.
