Oh! I forgot to tell you... my kitty Cookie has passed on. He was very old and sick and breathing heavily. Though I rushed him to the vet he had other plans; as soon as they got him to the back room he had left us in the usual manner. I take some solace in the fact that no-one had to help, if you know what I mean.
