Having picked out a cat online from the local SPCA that I thought might be a good personality match, I went over yesterday for an interview and to pick her up.

It's unusual, but pleasant, to have any energy for cleaning this time of year (during the Dark Days). But my honorary big brother TM came over yesterday with his sister's pickup truck. Tomorrow is one of the rare (now) occasions where I have to work on a Saturday: the school's biggest social event is tomorrow.
