Happy Birthday Marlene!!!!

I hope your day is as fantabulous as you are!!!

This picture is a few weeks old now, but you get the idea.  My fingers aren't nearly this gross anymore.  Saw the doctor on Saturday, everything is looking good, and the cast is scheduled to come off on March 7.http://i8.photobucket.com/albums

That's fan-cee medical talk for "she fell down and went boom".  The law of averages caught up with me last week, as I slipped on the ice and broke my wrist.  I'll post more details later, but I'm in a cast and convalescing at my folks'.  So, that's why I'm more MIA than usual.  I'm doing pretty good and am attempting a return to work on Monday.

After we got to a certain age, my folks let my brother and I stay up to usher in the new year, as I'm sure a lot of parents do.  I remember in particular one year when we went outside to scream "Happy New Year" at the top of our lungs, and use the little cheap party whistles and noisemakers and such (I'm sure the neighbors loved this).  And then we ( Read more... )
