Boy is home!  Mom and Kiddo had to drive to Dallas to get him and they got home around midnight last night.  I gave him a hug and saw him for ten seconds before he went and crashed in bed.  Can't blame him.

Being productive feels good!

Today I have accomplished the following:

-Went to the eye doctor.  I've been having chronic headaches and wanted to see if they were due to my prescription being off.  The doctor said that the headaches were probably due to tension and not my eyesight (oh joy?) but he did up my prescription a little bit.  So yay for ( Read more... )

Sometimes I sincerely think that Panzer is one of the strangest animals that I have ever met.  No matter how I'm sitting, he will find a way to sit ON me even if it doesn't look even remotely comfortable.  Maybe this is normal cat behavior, but he's still a weird cat.

LIfe has been both lazy and busy!  Fourth of July weekend was good.  Mom and I have been doing the bachelorette thing together, which has been really nice.  Noelle came over and the two of us went to Jackie's 4th of July party.  We had a good time - ate delicious food and played a LOT of Apples to Apples.

I really enjoyed working at GS for a number of reasons (I liked my coworkers, the hours were good, there were nice perks, I didn't have to drive half an hour to get there... etc...) but the job is HELL for anyone who is trying to make a decent amount of money.  The starting wage is very low and the payment system is HELLISH.
