Dad told me that they're putting Hank down today.

I've known this dog for eighteen years.  That's longer than I've known almost everyone I know now.

Including my youngest brother.

He's had an amazing, happy full life and it's time.  I've known this for a while.

But it doesn't make this any easier.

My dog was dying tonight, and then he wasn't.

And then I nearly got crushed by stereo equipment and destroyed the house.

And people are coming over to my house for my New Years party.

NEVER A DULL MOMENT AROUND THIS HOUSEHOLD.  CHRIST.

As Boo put it:  2009 is ending kicking and screaming.

The Good:

I picked up Boo from the airport this evening, so she is safe and sound and back in Austin.  Yeah!

The Bad:

I have a dentist appointment tomorrow.  Bleagh.

I'm getting more and more worried about my poor dog...  He's still up and moving around and isn't sick or anything, but it's pretty obvious that he isn't happy.  I just wonder at what ( Read more... )

-I have shiny purple fingernails.
-I've been working part-time in Mom's office doing menial office-bitch work.  Like stapling.  And folding, oh god the folding.  But it pays $12 an hour, so I AM TOTALLY OKAY WITH THIS.

Few things in life make me happier than walking through the greenbelt with my puppy.

One of these few things is wading down the crick with my puppy.

Yes, it's spelled crick.  It is not a creek.  Anyone who corrects this spelling is a phillistine.

I'm sleepy right now, but I've been meaning to update.  Bulleted list time.

-Got up early today and went to Central Market with Mom and the boys to get food for Christmas dinner.  ^^ Roast beast, oh yeah. 
-Went to Trudy's for brunch.  Had breakfast tacos, which were surprisingly sub-par.  I'm not sure if the eggs were real or not.
