Well it's been almost three months since I've updated my poor LJ.  Three whole months.  That is a long time.  And a LOT has happened.  BUT IT'S ALL AWESOME.  Since I really can't accurately recall the three of the most eventful months of my life in one LJ entry, here is the lame bulleted list version of the big stuff:

Just found out that I made all A's for the first time ever in my LAST semester of undergrad.  And that I'm graduating for sure.  With a 3.5 GPA.

You know what's a surefire way to feel good?

Reading your work out loud in class and having your poetry professor go "I wish I had written that." to something you wrote.

I take comfort that even if I suck at paper-writing, at least I can write a half-decent poem!

I need to make a post about last weekend and this week, but before I do that I just want to share this:  Ultimate Disney Playlist.  Boy linked this to me on Facebook and it is GLORIOUS.  The only problem with listening to it in the school library with headphones on is that it makes me grin like an idiot and I have to resist the urge to dance in ( Read more... )

I was not having a good day today.  It's just stupid cold here in Lubbock, I had to bike to class in it, my fingers go numb every time I go outside, I'm still sick, I completely spaced out on the reading I was supposed to do,  and I blanked out on a test that got moved to today that I had forgotten about ( Read more... )

Huge stressy English Renaissance Lit paper is DONE!  Just gotta email it in.  I'm already done with two other classes for the semester and after my Karate "final" this afternoon, that will be another one.  Then it's my American Public Policy final on Saturday, Art on Tuesday and my English Renaissance Lit final on Wednesday and I am THE HELL OUT OF ( Read more... )

In case I haven't told anyone:  I'M GOING TO BE IN AUSTIN THIS WEEKEND!  It's fall break, so I have Monday and Tuesday off and I'm skipping my one Friday class so I'll be there from tonight through Tuesday.
