I was stuck on this chapter forever - the chapter that wouldn’t die. But apparently a three day weekend and a bit of wine work wonders. Might need a bit more editing, but whatever. Maybe that will happen tomorrow

“That’s why I’ve been watching you. I know we have to go home, but sometimes I don’t want to. I don’t want to lose all of this, and I don’t want to lose y--” He paused, his gaze flicking away from her for a moment before he began again, “This is probably the dumbest thing ever, but sometimes it seems like if I just focus on what’s in the present, maybe you - I mean, it won’t ever slip away and the future won’t happen, yeah. This whole chapter was marvelous, but that paragraph in particular just absolutely blew me away.

I love how well you make these two work, how they're so obviously in love with each other, but it isn't perfect, it isn't sticky sickly-sweet and fluffy--it's realistic, and that makes it all the stronger, all the more believable.

It's lovely. And wonderful. And as always, I don't have the words to express how much I love it. ♥

I am so happy to hear that you enjoyed the chapter!

That one particular passage was written during a good moment, when the words were really flowing -- a good deal of the rest of the chapter was much more tricky!

As lovely as that mental image is... I think for the moment Sakura is way too pissed off / feeling very jilted to wait longingly for him. (Unless it's to give him a beat down.)

Hopefully the last chapter will be out before the next five zillion years are up... :P

Your story is one to remember. I don't think I ever had a FF writer who's page I visited as often as I did yours. Every time I do, I check if the number next to "Chapters" changed. Unfortunately, it hadn't in the past two months, and I must say-I'm getting tired of standing on my toes

The next chapter is on its way... Albeit very gradually. Needless to say it's a very different chapter from the others. I seem to keep hitting roadblocks, but I am working at it, don't worry! I'm sure some evening it will all just hit me in a flash and come tumbling out, but for now it's progressing rather slowly.

That being said, I just logged on to Livejournal to type another paragraph of the story... So off I go to do that! ;)

The way you have written this story is honest and real. That in and of itself put this story at up at the top of my recs list for this fandom.

When I first saw the pairing, I thought, "Why not, Cracktastic pairings are always good for cheap entertainment". Then I started reading your story and was totally sucked in by your realistic buildup of the relationship, while keeping the characters quiet true to cannon. All I can say is wow!

I have been searching good akatsuki releated fics for ages, ones with out some idiotic yaoi pairings (you know, sasunaru omg stuff) I almost gave up hope. But then I found ypur writing and its absolutely amazing. Its mature, realistic, and the most important is that you can keep the characters as they truly are! You can descpire personalitys so well. Deidara is my favorite character and you write him so well. (Too many rape his personality)
