April with few showers
Finally got back on to Live Journal. Somehow I had forgotten my user name. Senior mind I guess. Been making quilts like crazy. Seven weddings will take place before long. Friday the 6th of February feels like March or April.

Time flies whether or not I have fun. Want to make an entry this year anyway. Have had lots of company this year. Went to Colo in Sept. Still have 4 cats. Been an mediocre year. Next year will be terrific. -
Three weeks into November
I have been extremely busy--which is good. I am feeling fairly healthy although I still use one crutch. I will take time at a later date (soon) to review my November adventures. I want to document them for my own record and not to bore anyone else. -
Winter again
It is good that it is snowing today. There is no guilt about not working outside. Today I am working towards getting several monkeys off my back. I have too many half finished projects and the weight of procrastination is too much ( Read more... ) -
Wednesday news--It is cold outside!! The snow didn't melt.

Wow! Where has August gone???
We took Sam home to Springville today. He said he was happy and sad to go. That was a good answer. I felt the same way. I am weary but happy. In Springville, Suzanne, Sam and I walked over to the museum and looked at the quilt displays. They get better every year. Is it bedtime yet??
I have been up since 4:30. I am well on my way to getting the quilt ready for the quilter. I am working on the backing now and then I have to press everything and snip all the "whiskers." The quilt is pretty but not up to my standards. Still...I did learn many things--I don't like to work with just two colors, I need to get started and keep ( Read more... ) -
Today
I was up relatively early and started working on my rose bushes. I learned that my rose on the south side of the step is not "Simply Marvelous." It is marvelous but its name is Rosa. My Simply Marvelous is on the south side of the yard. Rosa got a major pruning. It was in dire need. I hope all of the hot weather won't fry the new growth ( Read more... ) -
