Same old, same old?
As with most of my journals I start with a few entries and try to make it a daily thing, but soon I start skipping days, or even weeks.
It's been a month and a half now since my first entry and I must say not much has changed. A lot of inconveniences in the physical department. Keeping me from being able to do a lot of things I'd want to, writing ( Read more... ) -
Ups and downs
This week has been okay so far.
Starting with the fire alarm going off in the middle of the night didn't bode well. But it's been quite fine otherwise.
Alternating between relaxing and doing things around the house I was happy to get some stuff done.
I had a spa day planned this week and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Enjoying my free time...
... with family and friends has been the theme for this weekend.
With the current hot weather BBQ-ing seemed like the only option for hanging out this weekend 😅
We spent some quality time together and with friends and family in our gardens with lots of conversation, music, food and drinks.

Fire safety nightmare
We had the scare of our lives last night! We both woke up screaming when at 3:05 am the smoke alarm suddenly started screaming.
It was the most awful sound I have ever heard in my life! So loud it hurt.
We both woke up in terror and panic. Honestly! I've woken up screaming many times in my life due to nightmares but this was a whole other level.

The Second Week..
Last Thursday I went to work one last time to hand in my laptop and such things.
I went on Mina and I thoroughly enjoyed my blow-through jacket! In a normal jacket I would have probably been cooked alive with this heat.

6th and 7th Day
Yesterday was not much different from the days before.
Still tired and a little light headed. Too weak to be bothered with anything.
I knew calling the doctor wouldn't be of much help because of those darn assistants, they just don't listen!
Next time I'll just make an appointment with the doctor.

4th and 5th day
Fatigue has ridden my days.
Luckily I'm still able to do some fun stuff. But periods with some energy change into periods of intense fatigue.
Lying in bed listening to a podcast on Spotify. Barely able to keep my eyes open.
At least I managed to rid the drive way of some weeds. But it felt like just a small patch.
Yesterday was much the same.
