Well, we're about to hit another baby milestone, so I guess it's time for a post. The next big thing we're working on is WALKING! He wants to walk, and he intends to do it, but his balance still isn't quite what it needs to be. He can take a step or two, and he's been practicing that frequently, but it's plop on his bottom as he quickly loses ( Read more... ) -

I'm so, so tired of feeling poopy. There are, maybe, 2-5 days out of each month during which I feel good. That's not nearly enough. I'm so, so, so tired of it. I wish I knew how to feel good. Weight loss would help, but I already know from experience that it doesn't cure everything. -

Bruno had to go live with my mom because he attacked the baby. The baby is fine and only had a light scratch on his back, but apparently (I wasn't there), he had him pinned to the ground. This is after Bruno growled and snapped at Francisco when he tried pulling up on his back a few weeks ago. Clearly, we can't stand by to see what he'll do next ( Read more... ) -

Big things be going down in baby town. He turned 10 months yesterday, and the last month has been filled with milestones. He started crawling in the last few weeks. I'm gonna say, maybe, 4 weeks ago? For me, it wasn't love at first sight with my son. The books say that this is perfectly normal, and knowing myself, this is what I expected, but it's still hard to admit. There is absolutely nothing attractive about my body right now. NOTHING, and I do mean NOT ONE THING. I'm disgusted with myself, and improvement seems increasingly impossible. Everything is just so gross and shapeless and flabby and god awful. I hate it. I hate it all. -

I just love this picture that I took of him at the park today. I mean, he may have sun screen all over his dome, and dirt isn't the most pleasing backdrop for a photo, but I don't know, I think it's the twinkle in his eye that appeals to me so much.

Francisco will be seven months old on the 10th of June. He is closer to being a one year old than being in my womb. It's all true, they grow too fast. What's happening now? Lots of stuff in the last few weeks. Sitting up. Mamama's and bababa's. Sprouting two teefs on the bottom shelf. Severe dairy allergy, which means severe dairy ( Read more... ) -

My old job asked me to come back "part-time." I said yes, and I am replete with regret for this decision. It wouldn't be so bad if it was REALLY part time, but just as I suspected, the work that I need to do can't be done on part time hours.
