I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving... or a good Thursday for those who don't observe the US Thanksgiving. I said I was going to spend the day fixing the floor in Mom's laundry room which is exactly what I did.

My Thanksgiving isn't going to be quite what one thinks of when one thinks of Thanksgiving. There won't be a turkey (there will be stuffing!) and no family that doesn't live here will be here. The floor did not get finished yesterday. Emily had to finish cleaning stuff out and then we had to move all her stuff to elsewhere in the house, we had to go pick out and pick up flooring and I had to pull up all the carpet and clean the sub-floor.
