Tomorrow is my last day off before Christmas. I plan on making cookies with Emily (her request) amd watching Christmas movies. We have two new ones: Nativity! (with Martin Freeman) and Nativity 2 (with David Tennent). We'll see if they're any good ( Read more... )

They've got to get us more help at work. I had yesterday off and this morning I'm still so tired I feel nauseated. One day off is not enough. Split days off are not enough. Days together every once in awhile are not enough. I need two days- together- and they need to be the same days every week.

Yesterday was my BFF's birthday, so I got to talk to her for a little while- I wish we lived close enough that I could have baked her a cake.

Day off... and too busy for words. My car is still leaking fluid so I have to take it back to the shop today... also somehow pick up cat food, go by the bank, wash clothes, and get Mom some cigarettes.

My Thanksgiving isn't going to be quite what one thinks of when one thinks of Thanksgiving. There won't be a turkey (there will be stuffing!) and no family that doesn't live here will be here. Today is the day... I have a fit and fall in it about my work schedule. I'm tired of trying to guess when and where I'm working... not just week to week but day to day... and nobody should have as much trouble finding out when they work as I'm having every single day.
