Man, these past few days went by fast. Which is good, because I really can't wait to get back to work. The R&R is fine, but being idle kinda sucks. I did bring some work home, though which I, admittedly, have not touched yet. I still have 4 more days of vacation time, so I'll hopefully touch upon 'em shortly.

So, Christmas went well, methinks. Mom's mood was hot and cold these past few days, though, but all is well. She opened her gifts on the 23rd. She was, at first, being rather negative about us buying her anything or spending a lot of money. But then she got excited, as well as curious when she saw one of the larger boxes... So, these past few days have been real good and, on one particular note, kinda sad.

Got home from a looong day at work (seriously, this whole week has been passing by way too slowly), and now the chicken is in the oven, and I am writing up some cards for some co-workers... Whatta day...

Got a haircut today. Looks rather good, layered, side-swept bangs, above the shoulder... I needed some change for the holidays. Should've gotten my eyebrows done too while I was there but, blarg, I didn't.

Took the car to the car wash as it was getting rather filthy. Downside is that I guess due the the cleaning combined with the cold. ( Read more... )
