I know it's normal. I'm at about 3 months and everyone says it happens then, but I stepped on the scale this morning and almost cried when I saw that the number hadn't changed. What happens when you have WLS is that it took you so long to get there that you want to be done being fat immediately. The whole fact that you usually have to wait about 2 years to get to your lowest weight doesn't play much into the mind of someone newly post-op. Week over week doesn't matter at all. Where you are in 2, 5, 10 years, that's the important stuff.

everyone is different. your body WILL keep losing if you keep eating, drinking and walking. i promise you!
don't get discouraged as it will only lead you to bad habits and a self-fulfilling prophecy!

I was originally scheduled for 7/30 but they moved me up to 7/27 because my surgeon had a conference to go to on 7/30.

And remember, the weight you've already lost is more than you would have without the surgery, maybe you just need a bit of a break?
