[ He kind of stumbles back a step when he hears someone suddenly next to him, which is followed by... well, staring. Because seriously, what are you. ]
[Could be worse. The last time Espio caught someone off guard, they attacked him with a chainsaw. Even so... he frowns with annoyance before complaining at full speed.]
Do you mind not staring, I'm sick of people staring all the time, and if they're not staring they're trying to kill me, it's not like I'm a monster or anything like that.

[ He clears his throat a little, trying to regain his composure. ]
'I guess it shouldn't be any surprise; given the way that letter was written, it's obvious that they're being printed en masse. That means there are other worlds getting roped into this too, and that means a lot of things I haven't seen before.

[Minato notes the two obviously new students going over their schedules. Silenced or not, he decides to go greet them, his notebook and pen at the ready.
Thankfully, their uniforms and chatter mark them as Japanese - that should make his side of the conversation go a little more smoothly.]
[ Today was parfait day. And a hot dog day. And a funky kind of juice day that regardless of what Usagi didn't know it was, still tasted pretty good.
So here she is.. looking for the perfect place to sit in the quad so she can soak up some sun and try to have some peace of mind for the time being and she comes across both Kyon and Haruhi arguing about classes on her search.
.. Oh yeah. Classes are kind of important aren't they? ]
[ Still rubbing his head a little from where Haruhi had twacked him, he glances at the girl approaching them. ]
'It was the strangest thing. The moment I saw this girl, I had the bizarre urge to... fight evil by moonlight, or something to that effect. I shrugged that off rather quickly, of course.'
Seems that way, yeah. Is this happening to a lot of people?
[Haruhi also has a semi-fourth-wall-breaking thought: that hairstyle looks straight out of a manga! Not that she has any room to talk, considering the fun she had with her hair before lopping it all off.]

[ Well to be fair, Usagi's been asking stupid questions left and right and she's read through that letter bajillions of times! So she sympathizes with Kyon ]
I just got here a few days ago! I'm still trying to figure my way around this place without getting too lost.
[Normally Marco wouldn't just be zooming around at extra high speeds, but really, he's trying to test something here and all the extra hyper energy is making him feel even more pent up. So while Haruhi and Kyon argue, there's a fiery blue bird zooming almost dangerously close over their heads. And maybe crowing out an apology in avian language, which is completely useless, really.]
[ Kyon ignores the fact that his letter and catalogue were blown clear off the table in favor of leaping to his feet as well, grabbing Haruhi by the shoulder ]
Watch it! That thing could be dangerous, you know!
'Could be? It was a bird on fire, every shred of common sense is screaming at me to get the hell out!'
