Sounds like a delightful thing - Takki as a damaged young man! It has some potential for the terminal illness, though. And I just have read this on DramaWiki - "The main drawback this series is Tatsuya's sometimes erratic train of thought and the loosening of the plot after episode 6, especially towards the latter parts of the drama where things just seemed to come out of nowhere". I see what you say after you finish watching this.

I'll definitely let you know what I think as I go along. The first episode was intriguing - I don't think terminal illness will be in the plot, but death very well may be - I just can't see this as ending happily. Besides the voiceover indicates that the meeting between Tatsuya and Eiko was the worst thing that could have happened (or it sounds like that to me, anyway).

I've heard that this is a strange one, but my GAWD, Takki is gorgeous in it. We'll see if that is enough...

I really should not be surprised that we have the same favourite on the CD. *smile*

Oh yes, Takki is gorgeous in Taiyou no Kisetsu. I like the dorama a lot. And the subs took ages to comes out. I think it was a year or so.

I'm not surprised. :) It's so haunting...

A YEAR for the subs? Oh, the pain. I feel so grateful then, that it's all done for me to enjoy. I rather like my policy of only watching doramas that have either been fully subbed or seem to have a reliable subber like dancestar. I can't imagine what it would be like for the folks who watch something that gets dropped halfway through. Although we'll see what happens when someone I like is in a drama that bizarrely doesn't get subbed...

Btw, is it true that the last 2 episodes of Tatta Hitotsu no Koi are being dropped for the bad ratings? That is news that makes me want to cry.

That's one thing I'd like to know to, because I've forgotten whether it was an official announcement when the drama started that it was to be 12 episodes long. The announcement at the official site says "We will be filming all 10 episodes of the drama, as initially planned."

I have no recollection whatsoever of how long it was supposed to be...:( I hope that no episodes were/will be dropped.

ahhh~~~~~~~~` I'm inlove with this dorama. There's nothing to say more. Tackey plays good there, though in every drama he runs xDDD he should be a runner perhaps one day %))

I'm already preparing myself for a gloomy ending! :) I just can't imagine that with the way it begins that it will end on a happy note. But that's ok. I just hope it's not like the end of Kimura Takuya's Sleeping Forest...

I didn't watch Sleeping Forest, but tissues at hand is definitely recommended for Taiyou no Kisetsu...

Good to know. Sleeping Forest is good - you should check it out someday (when you have the time, which I know won't be for a while). :)

I've been wanting to check out Taiyou no Kisetsu for a while now (it really does sound interesting especially after reading your summary), but it's a pain to try to get via BT. I'll probably try for it again sometime when my queue gets smaller. I still have Boku dake no Madonna to finish watching though.

For me it was a toss-up between Boku dake no Madonna and Taiyou no Kisetsu and the latter won. I got my copy of both from the jdramas comm. I'll keep everyone posted on what I think as I go along...

I was able to finish watching both dramas of Tackey. I enjoyed watching Taiyou no Kisetsu much better. I love dark doramas...

YAY, you're watching my darling Kame in Sapuri. I am SO in love with Ishida Yuya. I loved him waaaay more than I loved the dorama as a whole, because he was such a fantastic character and Kame proves yet again what a good actor he is.

He is by far my favorite character in the series, he is adorable and really trying to overcome all the obstacles in his life trying to be a good guy and still being able to enjoy life!!! I gotta say the the other guy, Ogiwara is getting on my nerves though and how he's sabotaging Yuya :/ ... Tonight I will watch some more episodes Eee!!!

Oh! I'm totally looking forward to Nobuta wo Produce, I'm downloading the episodes at the moment so as soon as I finish Sapuri I cant start watching it! ^^

Isn't Loreena's new album FAB?? I'm listening to it right now.. :)
I can't stop listening to it either!!! I think my iTunes is a bit tired of playing it on repeat since Saturday *hee*

Eeee! So glad you love Ishida Yuya. *hugs Yuya* I know, I'm going to hell, but I fell so in love with him, that I even wrote RPF with him and Kame, hence the icon...Kame works like a dog, sleeps one hour a night and really needs someone lovely like Yuya to take care of him...O_O They were my first slash fic pairings ever (!!!)

In case you are ever interested here is my Sapuri tag with all the reviews and picspams I did this summer.

I can't wait to hear what you think of Nobuta wo Produce!
