Oh yes, Takki is gorgeous in Taiyou no Kisetsu. I like the dorama a lot. And the subs took ages to comes out. I think it was a year or so.

I'm not surprised. :) It's so haunting...
A YEAR for the subs? Oh, the pain. I feel so grateful then, that it's all done for me to enjoy. I rather like my policy of only watching doramas that have either been fully subbed or seem to have a reliable subber like dancestar. I can't imagine what it would be like for the folks who watch something that gets dropped halfway through. Although we'll see what happens when someone I like is in a drama that bizarrely doesn't get subbed...
Btw, is it true that the last 2 episodes of Tatta Hitotsu no Koi are being dropped for the bad ratings? That is news that makes me want to cry.

That's one thing I'd like to know to, because I've forgotten whether it was an official announcement when the drama started that it was to be 12 episodes long. The announcement at the official site says "We will be filming all 10 episodes of the drama, as initially planned."

I just don't understand the ratings at all.

Someone (I don't remember who or where even) did mention that whatever is on versus NTV's Tatta Hitotsu no Koi on FujiTV in the same hour is an insane ratings!getter, thus the lower ratings for Tatta Hitotsu no Koi. However, I feel that maybe the plot is just too rehashed and "old" to appeal to the audience its trying to catch. After all, I was kind of shocked after watching the first episode, but then adjusted. But then, this begs the question, "Well why didn't anyone watch the modern!esque Sapuri then?" Oh, speculation... *grin*
