For a while, now, I've been seeing the rash of take-offs on Pride & Prejudice - sequels, a whole slew of books "from Darcy's perspective," combinations of the two. Just TONS of them. I love P&P, but, c'mon. If you're a writer, dammit, write your own characters. Don't commit character assassination on Lizzie and Darcy!
