In three weeks I will move to Qingdao, China to teach at a university.

I saw this vid a couple months back, grinned and thought "hm...yeah..."

In three weeks I'll move to Qingdao, China to be a university instructor.  It's located along the northeast coast, about 4 hours by bus south of Beijing.

I will attend the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

My trip ended yesterday.  For eighteen days, I traveled around Beijing, Tokyo, Kyoto and Mount Fuji.  I returned to Seoul yesterday, and will spend the weekend in Korea before heading home on Monday.  I will arrive at 9pm Christmas Eve in Traverse City.  In cinematic fashion, my whole family will be there to greet me ( Read more... )

In other news, tomorrow marks two months left in my contract.  보고싶어나?  I thought so.

Busan International Film Festival this weekend.  If I can affordable train tickets, that is.

Last Friday the Thai government announced that it would lift its ban on Youtube after a video was posted five months ago containing obscene images of the highly revered King.  Youtube banned the video following Thailand's censorship of the site so I was never allowed to view it myself, but supposedly it featured images of monkeys' faces ( Read more... )
