My day started at 4am when I woke up to blow my nose. I then proceeded to blow my nose for the next hour and a half. I would use a tissue, lay back down and within moments I'd be sitting up again to blow my stupid nose. So from 4am until my normal wake-up time of 5:30am I was using tissue after tissue. I went to the doctor yesterday and he looked down my throat and said, "I'm very sorry to tell you this, but it is very ugly in there." He mentioned strep, although he didn't do any tests for it. I'm never cold. I'm the person that has her classroom windows open in mid-winter and the fan going year-round because I'm always hot. Working 8 hours yesterday on 3 1/2 hours of sleep was interesting, especially when I realized that I felt more awake than I usually do with 8 hours of sleep.

What I wouldn’t give for one entire weekend where I have nothing planned. No work, no babysitting. Just a weekend for me to veg at home, read the books that are quickly piling up, watch many pretty movies, and just recuperate.
