In spite of the fact that I'm on vacation, I have to call into a required meeting tomorrow at 9:00am. My original afternoon/evening plans were derailed today. A friend is ill so I went to hang out, drive her to the pharmacy for her drugs and stock her house with food. It was painful to watch. In the 13 years I've known her, I've seen her cry 3 times and her 10 minute breakdown today was the only time that wasn't caused by heartbreak just pain. ( Read more... )

Tonight I fulfilled my female duty. I put on a dress (third in three days, I think my head will soon explode), journeyed down to Santana Row with the girls, drank things in martini glasses (I don't like cosmos so I stuck to nice manhattans instead) and then finished the evening with popcorn and "Sex in the City".
