anime(?) cartoon movie of the 80s/90s

I would have watched this in the years 1992-1999 in the USA. I remember renting it pretty often from the Korean video store on my corner (it was in English on VHS, if that helps....) Anyway, I don't remember enough about it to find it successfully through google.

--randomly, when I said the name out loud, my boyfriend told me his company was thinking of making a game based on it! apparently he knew all along, but i never thought to ask him since he has a terrible memory.

There IS a game based on it. A very very fun one, by Capcom, for the NES. It came out 'round '90 or '91, I think. I used to play it all the time, I loved it!

yeah, they were going to do an updated version--the game is in public domain now or something? idk they dropped the project so who knows? lol
