Right, so I have a book I remember reading years and years ago that I got from my childhood. I am absolutely desperate to find it, so if anyone one could help me, I would love you so much. It's a pretty long description, because I remember everything about it - other than the title, author or character names! I'm pretty sure it was a female

It sorta sounds like The Neverending Story, but I don't think it is.
