violin band?

so, i vaguely remember watching somehting like regis and kelley or maybe the today show maybe 5-8 years ago, and they had this special guest band on. it was made up of maybe 5 women, or a few more or less, and they all played violins or other string instruments. the thing was the violins looked really cool, NOT like regular violins at all. they
