Today, I made more jam and I picked the last two scraggly carrots. I haven't been too into gardening lately. I think I'll just put it off until next year, when I have time to actually plot out the veggies I want to grow. For now, I'm content with just picking the persimmons. :) We did use old socks to make persimmon cozies today.

RIP Tuna, for Real

from Sunday, 8/17 around 1am.
Tuna died this morning. I woke up and looked in his fishbowl. He wasn’t moving. I shook the bowl. He didn’t move. I didn’t give him the greatest funerals. I just put him in a plastic bag and put him in the trash. I would have been fun to flush him down the toilet just ( Read more... ) -
Peace Lily
The highlight of my morning, was finding two flowers on my peace lily! This is the first time it's ever flowered since I've had it. I was so excited that I wanted to call my cohort in plants, but it was 6:30. I figured it was too early.... :D -
