This kind of comes out of nowhere, but here's our Fourth of July monkey amigurumi!  I figured, since it's going to be the 4th soon...why not celebrate..? :)  Well, here it is.  In the signature Uncle Sam pose.  Does it look like it?  Anyone going to fire up the grill and do a BBQ?

For the month of June, I made a Father's Day Monkey Amigurumi!  Instead of the usual brown and beige colors I use for monkeys, I tried a blue on blue color combo.  Hopefully it looks ok, but I kind of wish the light blue were a little lighter.  Color selection on felt is pretty limited at my local craft store.

Is anyone doing something special for Mother's Day?  Well, this is what I came up with.  A Mother's Day themed monkey amigurumi.  This time I sewed a nice little apron to make it look more motherly and I also included some nice baked goods to go along with it.  Does it do mom justice?
