I did finish these in time for Easter. I just didn't get the pictures uploaded until today. Anyway, these were for two little girls, both four. They named them Rainbow and Purple Strawberry. I'll let you guys guess which is which. ^_~ Also, they picked the patterns themselves when I brought books over to show my aunt.

For my family, April is the time of Birthdays. My dad's birthday just passed, and i made him a little yoda.. Which i couldn't find when i went to take pictures. Well, this April, Easter falls the weekend before my own birthday, and the weekend right after my cousin's birthday. (Big extended family who all live within 20 minutes of my own house... Well, it's been a while since my last post, but in that time I have practiced a LOT, learned a lot of new crochet techniques and adjusted my patterns.

So, I am proud to present my most recent projects: a trio of gifts for a few lovely friends of mine!

I've been playing around with using hand sewn fabric (fleece and eco-felt) embellishments. It's been super fun! I am rubbish at reading patterns (still) so these are all free handed, "crochet as I go" type dealies. :D ( Read more... )
