Grrr...Alex smash! Today I was going to upload my double-disc Ashkenazy/Harrell recording of Beethoven's Cello Sonatas to my computer & iPod, but I can't find it. The Sandman, Vol. 9: The Kindly Ones
I feel numb, but totally blown away. I just finished reading The Kindly Ones, the ninth and penultimate volume of Neil Gaiman's The Sandman. I'm probably going to make a big post about the whole series after I've had some time to reflect, but it's been the most enthralling and emotional experience reading a piece of literature in a very long time ( Read more... ) -
I woke up with the power out, not really something to shout about...
We just had a two/three hour power out at Solin. I made candle-fondu with Claire's roommates and some other people on the second floor, listened to Sarin's guitar-by-candlelight jamming, and chilled with Nikki, Jason and Dan for a while talking about bad television, Reach for the Top, iPods, scholarships and laptop theft ( Read more... )
