Just because I'm sick of explaining it to everyone one by one on MSN...
On Friday night at 6:20 while I was waiting for my uncle to pick me up from the De La Savane metro stop so I could have dinner with my family when my mum was in town, I was mugged. An 18-24ish year old white guy with a hood and a scarf covering his face pulled a truncheon/beating stick on me and told me to give him my bag. I hesitated for a bit to see if there was anyone else around or if I could do anything, but I gave it to him. A minute later my uncle pulled up and we went down the street to see the guy get in a white minivan, and tailed them until we could make out their license plate. I spent an hour and a half making a police report after dinner and missed the first hour of the Arrested Development season finale. My laptop and two books were in the bag. I've replaced them all, and if they find the guys, I may need to appear in court or whatever.
I'm fine, nothing is wrong, aside from me being kind of skittish outside after 5:30 or so, but I figured I owed it to everyone to let y'all know. I have an essay due Monday. Fuck this shit.
