JESUS CHRIST THE FEDS ARE AFTER US.

So I have two screenshots  for you fine folks today. Technically three, I suppose, because the flag was a monster.

I'd like to give a little disclaimer before posting the second screenshot. Actually, I'd like to give two. First: go ahead and grab some Preparation H, because it's so full of butthurt that you may start feeling sympathy pains. Second: ( Read more... )

funny story, flagrsp, butthurt, wall of text, orbs, a wizard did it, kewl tats, terminally screwball, lolwhut, wyrmrest accord, dramallama, demon, controversial statement

a quote by our own poster Metalsyko, whom this particular player apparently mistook me for

Sues aside, it seems that the really special fucktards on WrA truly believe that this community is a circle jerk effort of half our Mod Squad (namely, Metalsyko and kitten_cudgel). Hell, I remember when a Troll accused WCS of being 1/4 kitten_cudgel sockpuppets!

Just proves to me that even though I love my little slice of RPG heaven, WrA has truly gone to the tards.

...wait, what?  When and where did this happen?  You've gotten me curious now!

It happened when I posted a report on Grixxis the Uber Pally, which spawned all sorts of delicious butthurt. One tasty bit shared with me from kitten_cudgel revealed that the lot of asspatters in his guild assumed that I was a sockpuppet.

They then decided to swarm my post, which in turn prompted a Mod Post calling out the stupidity of it all.

And since I'm a nosy undead dragon lady, I looked him up on Battle.net and found that his godawful guild no longer hosts him, and he's stopped wearing the Judgement Set as if it were some "I'M BETTER THAN U" badge among other Pally RPers.

He's also now a level 6 human warrior named Durdenn (MRP'd into Tyler Durden, ofc) who hosts RP roll duel "Fight Clubs" in the basement of the Pig and Whistle.

He gets really ass-hurt over anyone disliking roll duels, RP duels, or the fact that he never bothered to read the equally-overhyped and aggrandized book and instead is playing straight-from-the-shitting-movie Brad Pitt.

Pale skin and green blood...I am picturing her looking similar to a block of well-aged veiny cheese.

...last I checked, eyes don't grow back.

Also, in terms of "runes that keep me animated", I wouldn't have stuck them on something so easy to cut off. Or anywhere easily visible for that matter.

*refuses to delve deeper than that into this flag*

Oh no, her eyes grow back because she regenerates everything you cut off.

It's just a shame she's not like a hydra and grows it back double.

Well of COURSE everyone on WCS isa sock puppet account. It's not hard to tell. Just about everyone writes with good grammar and spelling and a heavy dose of snark. You can't replicate that!

I make a post mentioning grammar and spelling and loose my space bar. Go me.

Yeeeah... I saw that and gave the hell up. Obviously I wasn't meant to make a coherent post that day.

I also can't be bothered to pay for an edit button and didn't want to spam my fail. *chuckles*

You're welcome for that flag :P

I think I would've been more invested in it myself if I hadn't been watching the entirety of this Stormwind Guard attempting to block off the crypts in the Cathedral because one man down there had a cold or something. It was like they were trying to be the quarantine from the disease event again, only with 1000% more retarded.

But she definitely made me do a double take. Alchemical construct, wat. Guard guilds, you truly attract the best of the best RP.

Regarding the criticism vs. cyberbullying mess, you're absolutely right. I almost want to ask, every time someone QQs here, if they think Stephen King goes and leaves trolling comments on every bad review of his books or if M. Night Shyamalan flames moviegoers everywhere.

This all counts under the umbrella of criticism, just like fanfic comments and other things teenagers on the internet like to get upset about. Cyberbullying would be targetting just one person and harassing that person, not critiquing their work ( ... )

I feel like this should all be stated more succinctly and shoved into a link that can be thrown at QQing trolls.

If we could find something summed up by a neutral third party it would be all the more effective, for what it's worth.

I quoted a few things from Wikipedia below that sum up the difference between cyberbullying and criticism. The biggest difference is that cyberbullying intends to do harm to a person specifically, whether that harm is emotional or physical. Further:

Cyber-bullying can be as simple as continuing to send e-mail to someone who has said they want no further contact with the sender, but it may also include threats, sexual remarks, pejorative labels (i.e., hate speech), ganging up on victims by making them the subject of ridicule in forums, and posting false statements as fact aimed at humiliation.

So basically: cyber-bullying is all about hurting a person. Nowhere in there, however, does it say anything about criticizing a person's writing/art/flags/etc. And that is the difference.

I think the biggest trouble lies in that a lot of people consider criticism of their work to be a direct, personal attack.

They grew back. OKAY.
Actually, this isn't the first alchemical construct I've seen. There's a not-a-deathknight running around WrA with golden runes and green blood, just waiting to be posted.

And yeah, I had to get out of the cities last night on WrA because people were going on and on about "people who are strict about lore are uncreative!" and "playing an original DK (orc spirits in human corpses) is just as plausible as humans who say they're not from SW! neither are supported by lore." /facepalm

"people who are strict about lore are uncreative!"

Whoever said that needs to be bludgeoned by a frozen fish with icicle protrusions.

My Dwarf Shaman fits very well within the Lore (I admit it, she's a Wildhammer, and some people think I shouldn't even be playing that) and I consider her to me my most unique and creative WoW RP character. I love her to bits!

That is on fire.

There are probably cases where they're right. People trying to help you not play catgirl Ezreal are not them, and people will never understand this in that game. Ever. EVER.

ever.

In my experience, the only ones saying "you must adhere exactly to the opening cinematic and starter quests or you're a a lorelol" are white knights of Carealot who are making strawman arguments against lore-sticklers.
It's canon that Wildhammer dwarves exist and have ties with the Alliance for at least the past seven years. While the default dwarf background is one from Ironforge, it's not that out there that a Wildhammer might decide to join the Alliance officially. In contrast, the number of children produced from a demon/mortal union is a zero.

DEMON ARE EVIL AND EVERYONE HATES THEM. Sunglasses.gif
