Actually, this isn't the first alchemical construct I've seen. There's a not-a-deathknight running around WrA with golden runes and green blood, just waiting to be posted.
And yeah, I had to get out of the cities last night on WrA because people were going on and on about "people who are strict about lore are uncreative!" and "playing an original DK (orc spirits in human corpses) is just as plausible as humans who say they're not from SW! neither are supported by lore." /facepalm

My Dwarf Shaman fits very well within the Lore (I admit it, she's a Wildhammer, and some people think I shouldn't even be playing that) and I consider her to me my most unique and creative WoW RP character. I love her to bits!

That is on fire.
There are probably cases where they're right. People trying to help you not play catgirl Ezreal are not them, and people will never understand this in that game. Ever. EVER.

It's canon that Wildhammer dwarves exist and have ties with the Alliance for at least the past seven years. While the default dwarf background is one from Ironforge, it's not that out there that a Wildhammer might decide to join the Alliance officially. In contrast, the number of children produced from a demon/mortal union is a zero.
