Just throwing an update here that I am all right in the wake of the earthquakes. I'm in Kyoto which is a fair distance away from Miyagi, Fukushima, and Ibaraki, which were the worst hit. So in continuation of a trend that seems to be setting itself up this semester, my fax machine is now no longer working for no explicable reason. The phone rings, I pick it up and get the beep beep beep tones, I put the phone down to hit start to put the fax through, NOTHING HAPPENS.
