(no subject)
So my one goal for the long weekend before classes started was to actually go through my apartment, clean up the pile of papers and crap that has been stagnating in the corner of my bedroom since I moved in, and maybe set about writing up a list of personal goals and a tineline for how I could go about accomplishing said goals.
Yeah that didn't happen.
But! I remain optimistic. I've got classes with one of my best elementary schools tomorrow and even though I do not have the class plan because the other ALTs did not pick it up for me at the office, this school is usually the best at a) following the 5th and 6th grade curriculum and b) having a definite plan of what they want me to do for the younger grades. And even though I'm probably going to be teaching six of six classes tomorrow, I can pop in at the office after school and grab my schedules for the rest of the week.
Attitude is everything, so this year I am saying FUCK NEGATIVITY and I'm not going to dwell on things that might go wrong. There is a silver lining and I HAVE GOT MY EYE ON IT.
