Yorihisa's Ancestry...
It may or may not have become apparent, but I'm a bit of a history geek as well as a Japanese geek and a HaruToki fangirl. The whole world of mediaeval Japan totally fascinates me (*pokes the copy of Heike Monogatari currently beside bed*) and I've always been trying to work out exactly where the first HaruToki lot fit in in a historic sense.

This is very rough because the raw pictures that have been posted are digicam pics not scans and large areas of the text is blurry and not easy to make out (for that reason I reserve the right to have misread certain kanji since in some cases I was looking at context to work out what the missing blob was!). I should've left watching the Bleach filler a little longer...
I've just seen 251 and given its ending, I don't want to wait a fortnight for the next part T_T.

I got the CD for this today (I'd been meaning to for a while because Towa no Rasen is one of my favourite MikiShin songs even though I'm not into Gundam 00 particularly) and so did a quick translit/lation just because it's good practice...I'm sure others have done it better, but meh, its all good experience >.>

I feel I should be sounding fanfares or something because I finally, after two and a half years of playing and stalling, managed to get to the end of one of the Hachiyou paths. Well, like appaku , my JLPT grows ever closer. All the hotels in London are booked up in the area of SOAS, so I'm having to stay across the city, but at least it's booked now and I can stop thinking about doing it. Other than that, my random rough translating impulse has been startled into life. No idea if other and better translating peoples have got to work on these yet but since I'm working hard at my Japanese these days, I decided to do some for myself. Gomen if you've all read before...feel free to comment if anything makes no sense.
