In CA
I've been in CA for a week, just visiting family and settling in. Going out with my mom and aunt tomorrow. I'll be in CA into the second week of January. I hope to see some friends while I'm out here. There's a lot I hope to do before I fly out ( Read more... ) -
Oddness
So I totally forgot to post about the oddest part of my trip back to CA. It was when people asked me where I was from. Seriously I got that question a lot, and while I live in VA and consider it home...it's not where I'm from, I'm still from CA. I felt like they were considering me a tourist in my own home state. HOME
I'm finally back home in VA, it's good to be home. The first flight went off on time and so I got there around 4pm CA time 7pm their time, the place wasn't too bad and my flight out was in the same terminal which never happens. I grabbed some food and read some, and checked the flight status continuously, the flight time got pushed back to 11pm so ( Read more... ) -
Exile's Valor
I read The Mage Storm's and loved Karal, but I grew to like other characters as well. Like Alberich so when two books came out about him I thought it'd be neat to given them a read. Years later I'm finally reading the second book. I'm a little let down with the quality of the story over all, some things just seem a bit rushed to me ( Read more... ) -

So I've talked with my dad, now my main concern is getting there, I can drive,but it sucks to drive by yourself and I'm not yet sure where to go, but as of yet I don't have a place to go, so goggle will be my friend and I have a Gramin which is better and worse than goggle. OMG I had no idea I'd be in CA for AX! I didn't even think to check the days of the con until just today, well I did but I got side-tracked. So, yes I'll be there, I should be able to get one of my parents cars, also my dad has an RV so he might want to use that it's big and he got a truck so they have 3 cars.
