New Things
So it's been a long time since I posted an update, no real reason, mostly it's been the same thing day to day with a few high lights.
We(Nick) bought a house, and as long as we pay for it every month for the next 30 years it's all ours.
One day Nick gets home and declares we're buying a home, it was harder than it should of been because our bank 'miss placed' the paper work for a month. So we fixed a few things up to our preferences and moved in.
The next thing at least for me was getting enrolled in college, not really hard just time consuming. I didn't realize how far in advance they want you to start paper work so...I ended up getting classes at times I don't care for, and since I'm using the G.I.Bill it's not worth bothering trying to change classes.
Ooo I ordered my books Sunday knowing it wouldn't be processed until Monday and I got the books at my door Tuesday. I was impressed.
So we only had the Kia, and my class times conflicted with Nick's work time. This is something that we had talked about in advance. At first I had to live in VA for a year before I could get In-State tuition, then we hear about the updated G.I.Bill so I wanted to wait until that started with was another year. Due to issues it's a good thing I waited. According to the paper work I've not lived in VA for the 2 years that I have.
Anyway my point being with the first time home buyers money and the G.I.Bill we felt it was safe and wise to get a new second car.
And that's what we did, apparently a week late because there was one car left that was sort of what we wanted but in a color we both hated. So we were pointed to something similar liked it researched it and bought it the next day. It's not as cute and round as I'd like but it drives really well and I enjoy it.
Now I just wait for my first day of classes which is only a week away. I really hope I can get out of my shell and talk to people and make friends. For some reason we've failed at making friends since we moved, I blame trying to save money.
I forgot we got a kitten to be friends with our cat and now about 3 months later I think they might be friends or siblings... I worry about the kitten he's had an upset stomach all day.
I guess it's time for bed now or more of my current fav. mmo or fanfic...hmm what to do.
Aww she's grooming him (he needs it)...so any minute now they're going to run around the house.
