So I totally forgot to post about the oddest part of my trip back to CA. It was when people asked me where I was from. Seriously I got that question a lot, and while I live in VA and consider it home...it's not where I'm from, I'm still from CA. I felt like they were considering me a tourist in my own home state. ::chuckle:: That kind of reminds me of when I moved back here, I actually more often found myself saying I was from California. So I had a lot of people saying things like "Well here in Michigan we do things like this," or "Wait until you try driving on solid ice roads," and I had to be like "OH, no no no! I grew up here, just was away for a while!" .^^;;

I never know what to say to those sorts of things. XD I've lived in CA my whole life, but 90% of my dad's side of the family is in Virginia or elsewhere on the East coast... I dunno. XD
