Okay, so the potential for the 365 is a breaking away. I'm not that upset about it. I think that would be overkill. Maybe someday I'll work up to that tolerance level. For now, we'll thank HBO On Demand for numero 4 in the 100 movies in 2008 goal.

We just got back from seeing Transformers on IMAX. Holy crap. I could not possibly give enough laud to those designers. Stunning. A delightful film. Top notch. Kudos. Et cetera. Ad nauseam.

Also, this IMAX has a full bar and you are encouraged to bring your drinks with you. Which brings me to the following philosophical question ( Read more... )

So I finished Philip Pullman's The Golden Compass last night.

I know I'm late on this boat, but I wasn't going to see Spiderman 3 in theaters because a) I detest Tobey Maguire, b) I loathe Kirsten Dunst, and c) oh whatever, man.

So tonight, we (Nic, Faith, and I) went to go see it at the $2.50 low-budge theater in Hopkins. The only way I can describe this film is catastrophically bad.
