I've been bouncing off Unicorn Warriors Eternal hard, and in ways that surprise me. I didn't expect to find the art style so alienating to me, especially the faces and eyes. I got into New York Comic Con by volunteering at an exhibitor table again this year, but when away from the table I was too busy listening to the two panels I attended to take any photos and didn't get many out on the floor. The new Venture Bros. Halloween episode is playing tomorrow at 11:30 p.m. and 2:30 a.m. on Cartoon Network.

I did my usual volunteering thing to get into New York Comic Con for Friday and Saturday. I was offered Sunday as well, but my body gave up on me around 4:30 Saturday, demanding I take a day of major rest.

A new season of The Venture Bros will start airing in a few months! Finally. There will also be a new Halloween episode airing October 28.

I recently learned that one of my On Demand channels carries often random episodes of The Anime Network's offerings. With most of my regular TV shows on summer hiatus, I mainlined almost everything--nothing is going to make me try a baseball series--since Memorial Day weekend.

Toonami is back! With some new series added to adult swim's Saturday/Sunday anime lineup: Deadman Wonderland and Casshern Sins. Then they repeat that lineup at 3 a.m., starting with replaying the night's Bleach episode. Did they actually listen to the enthusiastically happy response their April Fool's joke Toonami got online?

This year's adult swim April Fools prank is to replace its usual block with a version of one of the old Toonami lineups. I'm watching antique anime, especially a random episode of Tenchi Muyo, with this look on my face: o.O

I only watch this show for lack of anything better on, since it's hard for me to enjoy so many concentrated stupid people and spend so much time hissing derisively at them and calling them morons.
