I have run into a car problem: my only remote/key fob is dead and I can't for the life of me get its interior key out so I can't get into my car or change the fob battery. I didn't find out until around 5 pm so nobody at Hyundai or the used car place I bought it from (which is 50 miles away) is around to help me out by phone. If I could at least

A locksmith might help. Also there are hacks to this fob shit so that you don't end up paying five hundred dollars for a new key or spend money to have your fob 'reprogrammed'.

Ms. Demeanor on Tumblr just went into a minor rant on how to solve the problem of the fact that car sellers don't want us to own our own keys.

This is a major con of push-button as opposed to key-use cars too.
