Time Warner Cable and CBS/Showtime have some kind of pay dispute going on. TWC claims CBS is trying to force them to pay a 600% mark-up to keep the channels, while CBS seems to be just claiming that TWC is being an asshole. This kind of dispute has happened with other channels in the past--like Comedy Central at one point--but something usually gets ironed out at the very last second so customers don't lose the channel. This time TWC has blanked out CBS and Showtime for days with no end or deal in sight.
