Entitlement
My big thing today is that some group of asshole motorcycle guys decided to travel at 40 mph in a 55 mph zone while occasionally doing wheelies and spread out across the entire highway to make it almost impossible for any of the mounting number of cars behind them to pass. If I'm stuck doing less than 40 mph on I-495, there damned well better be a good reason and these guys weren't it. And it went on for miles. Occasionally a few of them would look back so they knew they were holding up all the cars.
Finally one lane cleared, though the motorcycles kept swerving, which made people nervous to pass. But the first chance I got I took it because fuck their personal safety if they throw themselves into my way after all this. I wish I could've called 911, but I was too busy driving and trying not to hit and murder them. Which is hard when my foot kept pressing the accelerator and they kept shifting speeds, usually to slower.

Civic turns 12 years old this month, around the 16th. It's still weird to me that Civic still hasn't given me a real name, especially since names suggested themselves to me within days of having two different rental cars in the recent past and my previous owned cars had names. But maybe Civic fits, given that my car is polite, still highly maneuverable, and does everything I ask of it within reason. (The thing with it being bouncy and clunkier than it should me is due to its struts not being that great from getting hit by other cars and me not having the mucho money needed to replace them.) Well, polite until I get annoyed or my Napoleon complex kicks in and Civic kicks in with the maneuverability to get away from an idiot and glide between lanes or the speed to make a guy in a race car look like a fool.

In other news, Time Warner still has CBS and Showtime blacked out, so I missed Dexter tonight and if things continue I'll miss Under the Dome tomorrow. And, oh wow, Time Warner has turned channel 2, usually CBS, into Starz Kids & Family channel. WTF. What does this mean if they've assigned the slot to a whole different channel? I don't trust Time Warner Cable as far as I could throw it for a multitude of reasons, so....
