As many of the things I usually watch have gone on hiatus, I'm watching summer TV and a lot of Anime Network On Demand. A friend has gotten me to start watching Hannibal and I'm hoping episodes one through four will be rerun soon. (Will, GET A SECOND OPINION.) The Venture Bros. has returned, and its premiere episode was even more delightfully

I'm going to be upset once the Borgias and Nurse Jackie and game of thrones is over. So far none of the new stuff I'm seeing as short run pilot tests are looking all that interesting, in fact some of them make me want to go and beat the TV producers with a large stick.

I've got all of Da Vinci's downloaded but have not watched all the way through yet although the first few episodes looked promising. I think I can get you the first four of Hannibal are you going to have access to higher speed network any time soon? I can upload to file factory under a strange name and hopefully they won't get deleted.
There is a show out there on the BBC I think called orphan black. It's just completed its 10 run episode it's really interesting. If you haven't seen it you might take a look at Wiki and what it's about and if you'd like to watch it all tried to up load it as well.

I foresee myself watching a lot of Anime Network On Demand and borrowing DVDs from the library. To me, Da Vinci's Demons hasn't been living up to the promise of the first episodes--and I felt it jumped the shark big time in one of the recent episodes--but I'm still interested enough to see it through the finale.

That'd be great if you put the first four episodes of Hannibal up for me!

I really enjoyed Orphan Black, though I didn't appreciate how cliffhangery its season finale was, especially since it won't be returning until next Spring.

I will try to get them booted up at some point today for you and I had not forgotten about the some drives either home has been looking all over hell and high water to try and find a padded envelope to mail them in neither the dollar store nor Wal-Mart nor Kroger seem to have them I guess I will have to try and find one at the post office hopefully you would think they might sell them.

With all the people studying him so hard, you'd think at least one--aside from Hannibal, who's been taking advantage of it--would have noticed this episode that Will was all but wearing a sign around his neck saying "HOSPITALIZE ME PLEASE."

I haven't seen the latest one but GAWD someone needs to take that boy home and give him endless hugs and appropriate medical treatment.

It's ridiculous to me that even the people who like him (and aren't manipulative serial killers) are all "I like you but I find you too fascinating as a specimen to treat you like a real friend would or take care of you when you're very obviously struggling." Jack, this guy isn't going to keep being useful if he falls apart.

You sound like me. Thank God for On Demand and the Anime Network. Although less TV watching during the summer does give me more time to read books.

Yeah, I caught episodes five through eight of Hannibal from another On Demand channel, so I give thanks. *g* In the summer I read more books and go out for drives and walks more.

Well, I don't take more drives but I do take my two dogs on more walks. That's what they enjoy. *grins*
