Last summer, I was horrified to discover that "The goddamned" Frank Miller would be writing and directing the movie adaptation of Will Eisner's The Spirit. I saw Casino Royale with my mom tonight. It was the sex. The opening titles were done in a 60s retro style with a playing card motif and fun-if-cheesy theme song. The first action sequence (after the titles) almost gave me an asthma attack and I don't even have asthma. The next I get the urge to dye my hair blue at 3am, I will resist it. Right now, the streaks that I tried to dye are a greenish blue with a lot of bleach-blonde thrown in.
