The internet connection at my house has been acting up. It mysteriously went away on Saturday night, stayed out all of Sunday, and just as mysteriously came back on Monday morning. Now, it appears to be gone again. I am posting this from work

I'm with you, I can't think of a good reason beyond arrest not to go punch someone in the face there. In fact, I wish I could go do it for you. Because the pity sex that turns terribly bad? Yes. Well. It takes a while to get beyond that, it does. She says.

Anyway, as DaMo points out below, punching Jake in the face would probably just give him the satisfaction of knowing that he had gotten to me. So I'll continue ignoring him. The saying "The opposite of love isn't hate. It's indifference," comes to mind.

The thing is, the thing I feel most for jake right now is pity. And we're back in to Crime and Punishment territory...

Anyway, thank you so much for the hugs and empathy vibes! I'm sure that's why I'm feeling better now : )

And goddamn, no internet! maybe your provider is doing some fixing? I hope it gets better, since no internet makes me terribly antsy. On the other hand, no internet makes me get more things done, specially writing. Hmmmm...

And don't feel like you have lost ground from the recovery! never. Every step is a step away from it. Maybe not forwards, but sideways, and always away. Oh man, I go in to withdrawal from no internet! I feel cut off from the world. So lonely... But my internet is back now, so I rejoice! I think it was probably just a planned outage due to an upgrade or something, yeah.

Do you happen to have a phone number for an untraceable ninja cell? I wonder if they would be okay with me paying them in cookies.

You know what? I still feel really sorry for Jake. He has so much potential and it's just wasted. But my pity is tempered by anger...

I'm feeling better now, although my car is going to cost $1500+ to fix. Aiee!
