We are a small clinic in a somewhat smallish town, and we usually see a pyometra maybe once a year or so. We have had FIVE in the past month!! (2 diagnosed today!) What the heck?!

We had a cat come in last Wednesday not feeling well. 1.5 year old intact male, no vaccines ever, indoor/outdoor, had been in multiple fights with other animals. How are you guys dispensing buprenorphine? The way we are currently doing it is a pita. We can only get it in ampules, so we draw up the 1cc in a syringe and then fill other tb syringes from the original syringe in the correct dosage for the animal and cap them off with syringe caps.
