so i finally got myself to sit down for a while and actually write my personal statement. and, yes, it needs some tweeking, but at least it's mostly done. and it wasn't nearly as bad or cheesy and i thought it might end up. so, a big thank you to everyone who left me notes and advice/encouragement. :)

well, things here are......weird, i guess. i'm home in st louis for the next week or so, until i go back to truman for the semester. my great-uncle passed away on monday morning, so i had a hectic couple of days trying to move out of and clean up my big's apartment as well as the lab and getting research stuff taken care of [someone has to water ( Read more... )

mmm, so i got my mp3 player today. so far it's making me happy. then again, i've only had it for ~15 minutes. but it's pretty and BLUE! and yeah, i'm gonna leave now, i think the pain medicine is getting to me.

mmm, i'm gonna miss not having to do schoolwork once the summer ends. it's been so nice hanging out with chad and heather all summer since JBA. the three of us are road-tripping to columbia this sunday just to "get out of kirksville." and it's great fun going and helping with her horses. huggy and riley are so pretty! and crazy ( Read more... )
