[Rather like the Cheshire Cat, Crowley's cold smile was often followed by the appearance of his body, though not literally. His smile spelled out things that most people were afraid to understand, and yet they couldn't quite look away. It was very disarming, his smile.]

Good afternoon, men. I take it that you're new around here, hmmmm?

It makes Subaru's danger senses tingle that he didn't notice the stranger until he seemed to speak up. Usually, he's more careful then this. And oh, the other is wearing a smile. A disarming one at that. So Subaru les his own lips curve into a small smile, to mirror Crowley's.

"It would appear so, yes. Would you mind telling us where we are?"

[Kamui stepped forward until he was standing next to Subaru, watching the unfamiliar man cautiously. that smile was a little unsettling.]

[Crowley nods towards the twins, that smile not going anywhere anytime soon. He sensed that these two were quite more than human.]

Yes, I do. I'm like you- an "outsider", if you will. Welcome to the world of Vatheon, your new home. You're not getting out anytime soon- this place is all underneath the ocean.

[Mitsuhide is wandering, lost in thoughts, when he spies the pair. They are not souls he has spotted before, and while he can't be sure about it, something about them suggests that they are new arrivals.]

[Remembering what it was like for himself, three weeks ago now, he approaches carefully and with a kind expression.]

Subaru can't help but return that kind expression with a slim smile of his own. "Thank you. Would you mind tell us more about this place?" Asking won't hurt and more the hearing a 'No' is unlikely to happen.

[a small breath. Kamui doesn't say anything just yet, but he lifted his eyes towards the direction of the new voice.

Vatheon is a city sealed underwater and protected by a kind of... bubble. It draws in souls from many different worlds and timelines, as hard to believe as that is, and keeps them here.

[Kagome was coming back from shopping when she saw the two men walking down the street. Smiling at them, she walked up to them. Due to a recent injury she has amnesia so she does not know her name but due to talking to the natives, she knows about Vatheon.]

"It would seem to be the case." Apparently, people arriving out of nowhere isn't new to the people living in this city. And Subaru can't sense any hostility from the girl so he allows himself to relax slightly.

[Kamui glared at the girl a little, but he doesn't say anything just yet - he's not one for a greeting]

[She smiled slight at the one who talked. The other seemed a bit standoffish especially since he was glaring at her.]

[And being The Cheshire Cat, the Cat has absolutely no qualms in appearing just behind the twins, seemingly from thin air. The ears perched atop of his head twitches as he smiles widely.

There is a duck under his arm.

It quacks.]

Sixpence for a pet duck, if you will. How can you resist an offer like that?

...What. Subaru looks at the ears atop of the Cat's head. Blinks once. Blinks twice. Then shakes his head. "I'm sorry but we're not interested in pet ducks right now." Though the duck did look kind of cute.

[he doesn't even look at the duck, merely giving a firm glance at Cheshire Cat's face]

I'm more interested in an explanation for this place.

[A laugh. His ears twitch.]
